The Woolpack is a well loved pub with a big welcome and is affectionately known locally as ‘The Woolly”
It has undergone a fantastic transformation over the years but still managed to keep its traditional pub hospitality and values that are so important to everyone who knows and loves it.
There’s a stylish bar with an open fire, shabby chic mismatched furniture in great fabrics with confident colours and textures and the dining room has beautiful re-claimed chunky tables and seating.
The menu at The Woolpack changes with the seasons and has modern Mediterranean influences comfortably interwoven with British classics such as steaks and fish and chips. There is a comprehensive wine list, and an array of continental thirst quenching beers as well as cask ales; there is literally something for everyone!
The very fabric of the building lifts your spirits the minute you walk through the door and it is the perfect setting for a long lazy lunch, a catch up with your friends and family or in fact any occasion surrounding good food and wine.
Our opening times are:
Monday to Sunday from 11am
Dining room from 12 noon, last food orders: Mon-Sat 10pm, Sun 9pm
